  14.         AlphaSpell 6 is a fast spelling checker that can work smoothly with
  15. your text editor through its ARexx port. AlphaSpell comes with an ARexx
  16. driven GUI, along with several different ARexx scripts for use with
  17. different text editors. Support for other text editors is easy to add if
  18. you know a bit of ARexx. AlphaSpell 6 also comes with MUISpell, an MUI
  19. based GUI for AlphaSpell that lets you spell check and correct a document
  20. without the aid of a text editor.

  22.         AlphaSpell currently supports the following text editors:
  23. BlacksEditor, FrexxEd, GoldEd, GNU Emacs, TJM_DME, TurboText, XDME, Ed,
  24. Textra, Annotate, AmokEd, DME, SkoEd, and TKEd.

  28.         AlphaSpell 6.2 has TeX support, and it has lost the dreadfully slow
  29. HOMOPHONES option, which made AlphaSpell require translator.library. The
  30. AlphaSpell GUI 2.2 will spell check TeX files and the clipboard. It now
  31. lists languages in alphabetical order. A bug has been fixed that prevented
  32. the GUI from working with some text editors.
